I was first introduced to this game when my mother bought as a Christmas present for my father for his new XBox 360. Before this I'd never seen the movie and at 30 years old this wouldn't have been MY first choice. However, my entire family ROTFL as we watched my dad play this game. Over course when I returned to my own home, I HAD to get this game for myself. Rated E, this game is really for everyone. It follows the plot of the movie, and you mainly play as "Boo" the main character. Like the movie, in the game you meet other animals in the wilderness on your way back to the comforts of home. It's really the little things in the game that make it so funny to play and watch. Boo always has his teddy bear strapped to his back. To accomplish some tasks in the game you have to throw your friends, the one antler deer, hares, and skunks. To throw the hares you use their long ears as the cross hairs to aim. (snicker, snicker)At one point in the game your task is to scare off loggers and as you sneak up on them to avoid discovery Boo wears a leaf tutu and umbrella to "hide." (Hilarious!) All this combined with many other side comments (Totally "G" rated) by the characters throughout the game is a Hoot! The game play for the PC is pretty awkward, especially since I haven't found a joystick option to use. Instead try buying it for the XBOX 360 or Playstation 3. If you are buying for a kid, don't worry, there is certainly more objectionable content on Saturday morning cartoons. As an adult, leave your maturity at the door and have some good, clean laughs.Read full review
